Alocasia Portei

Alocasia portei features exceptionally large, deeply lobed leaves that can resemble a saber or prehistoric fern frond. The leaves are glossy deep green with prominent veins and ruffled or wavy margins, creating a dramatic focal point in any indoor space. This alocasia is known as the “Malaysian Monster” for good reason.

This plant can grow quite large, reaching heights of up to 6 meters (20 feet) in ideal conditions, although it is typically smaller when grown indoors.

These were hand grown from tissue cultures, by me, inside a humidity-controlled environment. All are now fully rooted, stable, and ready for new homes.
